The contractor is now 90% complete with the parking lot. The final concrete pour was completed, and the finish layer of asphalt is scheduled for Friday, November 14, 2025.
Work on the Houston Road island is expected to begin on Wednesday, November 12 and continue through Friday, November 14. After this phase, crews will focus on cleanup, striping the parking lot and crosswalks, and completing the grounds work, including seeding and straw. The contractor remains on schedule to be fully complete by November 21.
The fence bid packet has been released, with bids scheduled to open on Monday, November 24, 2025. Fence installation is projected to be completed by mid-March 2026.
Additional park amenities are still under discussion, with the goal of finalizing purchases by year-end.
The contractor began installing the fence and rails during the first week of November. Weather permitting, installation is expected to be completed by Friday, November 14, with the contractor scheduled to return in early spring to paint the fence.
Bids for the bike pump track and trails have been opened, and Innovative Dirt Solutions has been awarded the contract. The agreement has been signed, and the team is currently preparing plans to be submitted for review by early December.
